2025 - 2026: Rebuilt
Winona Competition
On March 4-7th our team went to our first competition up in Winona at the Bluff Country Regionals. New members of the team got to experience an actual competition which was really fun. We were able to meet with many different teams from five different states. We placed 21st and were happy with the progress that we made throughout the four days.
Week Zero
On February 28th the team went to week zero hosted by Irondale High School's Knightkrawler to have the team practice and see how our robot does when on an actual field. We got to see some other teams really cool robot design and got to find out and troubleshoot about our own robot. Thank you Knightkrawler for hosting.
Season Kickoff
On January 10th the team got together to watch the 2026 FRC season game. We discussed rules and what was the game was about, which led to doing a simulation of what it could be and started to think about our design.
Mini Trials
We went to our preseason tournment Minne Trials to have the team experience a little of what a robotics competition will look like. It was very fun, we didn't get picked for Alliance rounds but it was pretty fun overall and the team received major experience in scouting, driving, etc.
Cub Food Bagging
We spent the afternoon at Cub Foods bagging customers' groceries and showing off our team and what we do. We received some donations from generous customers and we would just like to say thank you to those who donated. We appreciate every donation because it will go towards funding our competitions and team success.
2024 - 2025: Reefscape
Minne Mini Trials
The team attended a local event that was hosting FRC's previous season game, "Crescendo". We had new members see what a robotics competition really was and at the end we helped tear down the arena. In return, we received some of the scraps as donations.
Mini Trials
The team competed at a local preseason event called Mini Trials that we had built a robot for a preseason game. We met up with some cool local teams and got to see other teams and how they worked together to solve problems. We were faced with some problems ourselves throughout the event but we were able to pull through and win some matches. We didn't get to the finals/alliance rounds but our team did get a lot of experience and had so much fun being there.
Week Zero
Hosted by FRC team 2052 "KnightKrawler" we attended a week zero event which was a practice competition for the seasons game "Reefscape". We didn't really get to show our robot but we were able to receive some advice from other FRC teams on our robot and scout other teams and what they created.
10,000 Lakes Regional
FRC Regional, what the year has built up to and what the team has been working towards. We were able to meet with teams all around MN and even teams who arrived internationally. We saw the intense matches, the variety of robots, and the amazing people at this event. We were able to win majority of our matches with our respected alliances and even beat our goal of winning at least 4 matches and achieving a new high by having scored a total of 176 points. We weren't chosen during alliance rounds but still were very proud of how far we had come. Throughout this event from thursday - saturday we had a ton of fun and gained tremendous experience for next year.
